Terms

4% tax to the Bahamas Port Authority will be added to all charters. All charters must be reserved and all payments received prior to your arrival in the Bahamas. Reservations require a 25% deposit with balance due 90 days prior to your arrival. Check-in is 3pm on arrival date and check-out is 10am on departure date. Charterer is to pay for diesel fuel, gasoline, water, dockage and/or mooring fees. Groceries and liquor are not included. Tips to Captains are not included (normally 15% to 20% of the Captain fee). A damage deposit is required for all charters except for day trips. A non-refundable hazard fee of $350 will be added to your charter quote based on a 7 night charter ($40 per additional night for extended charters) which reduces your damage deposit to $4000 for the duration of your charter. The $4000 damage deposit will be authorized on the credit card of your choice 7 days prior to sailing and will be released within 48 hours of your departure providing there is no damage. Please refer to your charter contract for details of liability. In the event of a hurricane watch or warning posted in our area within a week of your scheduled arrival we will reschedule or issue a full refund (less Paypal fees), your choice. In case of a mechanical breakdown forcing us to discontinue the charter on the vessel you have reserved, we will give you credit for another charter with us or place you on a boat with the same number of cabins for your group so you can continue your charter. Should this be on a less expensive boat the difference in price will be refunded upon your arrival in the Bahamas. Should you cancel your charter you will receive a full refund less Paypal fees and a $350 cancellation fee (plus 4% tax) provided we are able to re-book your charter week. If we are unable to re-book your week all monies paid at time of cancellation shall be forfeited. Guests are responsible for obtaining a Health visa to enter the Bahamas. We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation/trip insurance and we provide information on an insurance provider upon request.
